Q800 Pennsylvania Pinwheels
Red, green and cheddar surround the central pink square in these pinwheel blocks; the movement in the pinwheels comes from the half-square triangles. The blocks are set against a pale peach calico with little red hearts, while the border and binding are bright Turkey red prints. The backing is a blue and white homespun plaid. Machine quilted in tan thread.

Q900 Brown and Blue One-Patch
Lancaster blue and blue & white shirting fabrics are paired with 8 different brown prints from 1870-1880 time period in this one-patch quilt. The border is a medium brown floral print while the binding in a darker chocolate brown ditzy print. The backing is navy and white check homespun. Machine quilted in tan thread in simple diagonal lines.

Q702 Naïve Doll Quilt
This tiny quilt is reminiscent of a quilt a little girl would have made from her mother’s scrap bag.  The center four-patch block is made from a rust colored calico and an early, ca. 1870, paisley madder print.  Green and yellow blocks surround the center.  The binding is another madder print while the backing is a multi-colored homespun.  Machine quilted in light colored thread.

Q803 Pennsylvania Churn-Dash
Here’s another bright quilt inspired by the antique quilts of Southeastern Pennsylvania. The blocks are composed of red, green, yellow and Lancaster blue and surrounded by green calico sashing. The outer border and binding are Turkey red prints. The backing is a brown and white homespun check. Machine quilted in tan thread.

Q901 Nine-Patch
The pink and green nine-patch blocks in this little charmer were inspired by an antique crib quilt. A close look at the setting squares reveals a very subtle print of brown, tan, and red seaweed-like veins running through it. The border is a brown print with beautiful little pink and tan flowers. The binding is another brown print while the backing is a brown and white homespun check. Machine quilted in tan thread.

Q902 Pennsylvania Mosaic
Here’s another bright quilt inspired by the antique quilts of Southeastern Pennsylvania. The blocks are composed of pink, green, and Lancaster blue and surrounded by yellow calico squares. The border is a bright double pink and the binding are green calico. The backing is a multi-colored homespun check. Machine quilted in tan thread.

Q903 Little Log Cabin
This tiny quilt is composed of a log cabin block of pink, green, yellow, red and Lancaster blue, framed by a brown border. Each log in the cabin is only ½ inch in width!! The border is a brown leaf print. The binding is chocolate brown, while the backing is a multi-colored homespun. Machine quilted in tan thread.

The narrow inner border is double pink and the wider outer border is green calico. The quilt is finished off with a narrow pink binding. The backing is a blue and white homespun plaid. Machine quilted in tan thread.
