Ann Hermes Miniature Quilts
Folk Art from Pennsylvania’s Past

Inspired by our rich American quilting heritage, quilt designer Ann Hermes presents miniature quilts handmade from authentic antique fabrics.

"Drawing from my study of antique quilts and extensive antique fabric collection, I design and make unique pieces of American folk art in the form of miniature quilts. I especially love to reproduce the vivid antique quilts from Southeastern Pennsylvania.

My little quilts range in size from about 6 inches to 24 inches square. The top, backing, and binding fabrics are antique  and vintage fabrics collected from many sources.

My work has been published  in numerous magazines including  American Patchwork and Quilting, Quilt Almanac, Small Quilts, Patchwork Quilting, Quilt Magazine, and Quick Quilts and collectors from Pennsylvania to Texas to Australia have purchased my work."

Decorate your home with miniature quilts. Hung on the wall, tucked in an antique doll cradle, displayed on your antique farm table or contemporary sideboard-miniature quilts bring color and texture to your home.
